Getting started

What is NextChamp?+

NextChamp is an all-in-one operating system for sports academies. It unifies player management, attendance, daily and progress reports, schedules, financials, HR, and parent communication — plus dedicated mobile apps for parents, coaches, and academy managers.

How long does it take to get set up?+

Most academies are live within a few days. Our team handles white-glove onboarding: importing your players, configuring groups and schedules, setting up payments, and training your staff.

Do you migrate data from our current system or spreadsheets?+

Yes. We import players, parents, groups, attendance history, and financial records from Excel, Google Sheets, or your existing platform during onboarding — at no extra cost.

What sports do you support?+

NextChamp is sport-agnostic. Football, basketball, tennis, swimming, martial arts, gymnastics, and multi-sport academies all run on the same flexible platform.

Pricing & billing

Is there a free trial?+

Yes — every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. No credit card required to start, and no commitment.

How is pricing calculated?+

Pricing is based on the number of active players in your academy. There are no per-coach or per-parent fees, and every plan includes the full mobile app suite at no extra cost.

Can I change plans later?+

Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the dashboard — changes take effect at your next billing cycle.

Are there setup or hidden fees?+

No. Onboarding, data migration, training, and updates are all included. The price you see is the price you pay.

Mobile apps

Which apps are included?+

Three dedicated mobile apps — Parents, Coaches, and Academy Manager — are included in every plan on both iOS and Android.

How do parents sign in?+

Parents log in with their phone number and a unique access code generated by the academy. One parent account can manage multiple children.

What languages are supported?+

The apps and the web platform are fully translated into English, Arabic, and French. We add more languages on request.

Do the apps work offline?+

Coaches can mark attendance and draft daily reports offline — everything syncs automatically once the device reconnects.

Payments & financials

Can parents pay through the app?+

Yes. Parents can view invoices, statements, and receipts and pay directly in the app using their preferred payment method.

Which payment gateways do you support?+

We integrate with major regional and global gateways. Our team configures the right gateway for your country during onboarding.

Do you handle recurring subscriptions and reminders?+

Yes — automated invoice generation, payment reminders, late-fee handling, and recurring billing are all built in.

Security & data

Where is our academy data stored?+

All data is stored on secure, encrypted cloud infrastructure with daily backups. Each academy's data is fully isolated.

Who owns the data?+

You do. You can export your players, financials, and reports at any time, and we will permanently delete your data on request if you ever leave the platform.

Is the platform GDPR compliant?+

Yes. We follow GDPR-aligned data handling practices, including role-based access controls, audit trails, and granular parent consent.

Support

What kind of support do you offer?+

Every academy gets a dedicated success manager plus access to chat, email, and WhatsApp support. We're typically online during your local business hours.

Do you train our staff?+

Yes. Onboarding includes live training sessions for managers and coaches, plus a recorded library and in-app help center your team can use anytime.

Can you build a custom feature for us?+

Larger academies and federations can request custom workflows, integrations, and white-label options. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
